With strap hooks that are some of the smoothest and most secure.
Mad rock mad pad review.
The mad rock r3 is the best pad we tested for conforming to lumpy landings and for packing gear.
Just like the regular mad pad five inches of open and closed foam cushions your drop but your aim can be slightly off cause there s plenty of landing space.
The price was too high for my budget but i felt this was a tool i needed for my health.
When it arrive and i started using it.
Also because of how the pad folds it feels a little awkward on my back like its lop sidded and sits uneven.
For its size it is relatively light and compact.
Velcros together with other mad rock pads to make one super pad.
It is also one of the best pads for steep low ball falls on your backside.
It was nearly impossible to bottom out on sharp rocks under the pad from any height.
Warn your friends in the crag to stand back before you open the triple mad pad.
It has a convenient strap and tri fold design that turns it into a pretty comfortable couch.
It has velcro tabs that mate each hinge together and make it very unlikely that your foot can punch through a hinge.
I have 4 of these mats for my home.
Mad pad mad fun the mad pad is a great purchase for anyone who wants to boulder outside.
I did research and have concluded the mad rock triple pad the best mat on the market to meet my requirements.
The mad rock mad pad is one of the least expensive medium size bouldering pads we tested and has some of the thickest and stiffest foam out there.
I read some of the comments and on you tube and decided to purchase it.
I like how thick it is and mold able to the ground but considering the weight i would recommend something else.

One size verified purchase.
Lastly and most importantly can be made into a little couch when not in use to chill on.
Unfortunatly it s pretty heavy comparing to the metolious and mad rock pads.
It is very well made and durable.
4 0 out of 5 stars good value.
It is super light weight and doesn t hinder me at all on steep or rocky approaches and the waist and chest straps help a lot to hold it in place on my back.
At 44 x 72 this pad is the biggest on the market.
We value high performance quality climbing shoes and gear.
