Overall i m a big fan of mackie mixers and speakers. Recently i bought this mixer to replace an alesis multimix8 that had some channels busted within the first couple weeks. I found the mixer very easy to operate and also it was extremely quiet in such a compact package and works well with my electro voice zlx 12p series active speaker cabinet. Still trying to figure out the effects button as sometimes the effects were there and sometimes weren t in the mix even though i thought i set it.

I just think it s probably operator error. Feels solid and well built. I tried different usb cables and on different laptops desktops and this is just a piece of i have a small behringer 2 channels that i took out of the drawer and works flawlessly. The mixer itself judging by monitors and headphones is great.

Mackie is a huge disappointment. Profx8 v2 owner here usb keeps being dropped so i just can t record using it. Received the mackie profx8 channel mixer in record time and in perfect shape. Slices of the mixer mackie profx8 have a 3 band active eq auxiliary outputs for external effects processors as well as 60mm faders.
