Ls1 cam sensor oil leak.
Quite normal on an ls1 engine to get a leak from the oil pressure sensor or less commonly from the camshaft position sensor both located at the rear top of the engine.
So my vx ls1 has had a bit of an oil leak from the rear of the engine for a while now.
This leak can flow down and look like it s coming from the engine bell housing area.
With any camaro keep your engine oil clean and topped up.
But overall just take care of it and you ll be happy performance wise.
10 years and 230k kms you get that.
Have any leaks immediately repaired.
Had to remove the intake to fix a oil leak that was coming from where the knock sensors are located.
Keep an eye out for problems with the window motors turn signal.
It s hard to tell and most people change out the re.
We re talking maybe 1 4 drops of oil over night dripping from the bottom of the bellhousing.
Of course the p s leaks too because commodore.
This is the most common reason ls s leak oil and it s a pretty easy fix.

I just assumed it was the rear main on the way out and have tried to ignore it.
